The event featured renowned Sarod Maestro, Mr. Arnab Bhattacharya, and Noted Tabla Artist, Mr. Nilimesh Chakraborty, who thrilled the audience with their musical talent. The performance was followed by a Kathak Dance Drama & Jugalbandi by Guru Murali Mohan Kalvakalva, a senior Kathak Artist.

The event was attended by a wide range of people, including dignitaries, diaspora members, HoDs of Music Departments, and students from local universities. Everyone was mesmerized by the performances of the artists and their captivating display of the Indian classical music and dance.

The audience was enthralled by the intricate sounds of the Sarod and Tabla, and the graceful movements of the Kathak. The music and dance created a beautiful atmosphere that captivated the hearts and minds of everyone in the audience.

Chulalongkorn University hosted World Hindi Day (Vishwa Hindi Diwas) on January 21, 2023. The event was organised to promote awareness about the Hindi language and Indian culture. It was an occasion to recognize the contributions of the Indian language “Hindi” to the cultural and economic diversity of the world. Indian Ambassador and prominent figures from the Indian diaspora and aimed to foster cultural exchange and strengthen the bond between India and the Hindi-speaking community. During the event, a range of activities were organised, including poetry readings, cultural programs & speech contests.

The event was attended by many prominent figures from the local Hindi-speaking community, including businessmen, school-aged students, and members of the government. The guests were enthusiastic and eager to learn more about Hindi culture and Hindi language. The event was a huge success and has inspired the local community to continue to promote the use of Hindi in Thailand.
